Ontario Museum of History and Art

The Ontario Museum of History and Art is a welcoming museum that enhances knowledge and understanding of our people through dynamic and vibrant experiences. It gives the community a chance to experience the legacy of the city of Ontario. This museum hosts tons of exhibits that proudly showcase different stories of unique history and culture.

CA Landscape and Design was given an opportunity to renovate this museum. With a budget of $900K, CLD is currently performing a complete sustainable landscape and hardscape remodel of 2.4 acres of turf and parking lot at the Ontario Museum of History & Art in downtown Ontario.

The project features a permeable paver parking lot, decomposed granite paths, new monument signage and lighting, parking lot lights, bioswale systems, and new sustainable irrigation and planting.

The renovation will bring the museum up to today’s sustainability standards while keeping the integrity of the historical museum.

This was such a successful project that we had the pleasure doing and we totally suggest you check it out for yourself. For more information on the museum, parking, and/or directions, click here.
